Loving grandfather of Jeffrey and Robert Ashworth, and Annie, Emily, and Kate Herzog. Devoted father of Jeanne and Jerry Ashworth of Cape Neddick, ME, Richard Oshry of Brighton, and Deborah and Howard Herzog of Belmont. Beloved husband of the late Miriam (Mason) Oshry for 68 years. A graduate of Fisher Junior College Elka spent more than 20 years working at Sealy Mattress in Randolph. Elka was the daughter of the late Rose and Sam Goldberg of Holbrook and the sister of the late Leon Goldberg of Framingham. Tobman of Randolph, son Alan Tobman of Philadelphia and daughter Jodi Tobman and her husband Irwin Hagedoorn of Aruba. She is survived by her husband of 50 years, Frederick M. Beloved wife, mother, aunt, cousin and friend passed away on June 16th of Cancer. She leaves behind her 3 beloved children, Bob Libby and his wife Carla of Delray Beach, FL, Bette Ann Libby and her husband David Begelfer of Brookline, & Pat Libby and her husband Michael Eichler of San Diego,CA, and 3 grandchildren, Jeffrey Libby and his wife Jayna Walters, Noah Budnick and his wife Amanda Hickman, and Jesse Libby Begelfer, of whom she was so proud. ![]() She was also a regular bridge player with her friends at The Golf & Racquet Club at Eastpointe in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. She played golf until December 2008, and was still winning prizes. Her competitive spirit helped her to win many trophies. An advid golfer and longtime member of Spring Valley C.C.in Sharon, MA. She was active in many Jewish organizations including helping to settle Israeli students who came to M.I.T. She was well known for her Sterling Silver Jewelry, which she continued making until her permanent move to Florida in 1993. and The Museum School of Fine Arts in Boston, where she became a silver-smith. formerly of Brookline and Wellesley MA.on July 23, 2009.
